The District Commissioner’s Conference Twenty20 of SL Scout Association ‘Teamwork Towards Quality’ was held on Saturday 11th July at General Sir John Kothalawala Defence University, Ratmalana.
The keynote address was delivered by Principal Advisor to His Excellency the President Mr Lalith Weeratunga. The Conference was addressed by the Secretary General of WOSM Mr Ahmad Alhendawi, APR Regional Director Mr J R Pangilinan, Chief Commissioner Major General Milinda Peiris and DCC. All Senior Commissioners (Heads of Departments) made presentations followed by the District presentations.
4 Group discussions and presentations were held. The conference unanimously passed 17 Resolutions for the improvement of quality, transparency and accountability. The evening ended with a fellowship dinner. The conference was attended by all DCs and all NHQ commissioners for the first time.
